7 Heading back to Nordhausen railcar 187 016 was found waiting at Eisfelder Talmühle. Normally this railcar forms a service to Nordhausen, connecting with the 12:40 from Drei Annen. On this occasion the steam hauled 12:40 ran through to Nordhausen so the railcar was attached at the rear of the train.
8 99 7245’s duty was nearly over for the day as its runs round its set at Nordhausen Nord. The guard works the signalling attached to the station canopy upright.
9 At Walkenried (in what was West Germany) is the former station of the metre gauge Südharz-Eisenbahn, now lived in.
